About Dawn White

I'm a divorce coach, consultant, novelist, lifelong learner, and someone who believes that people are capable of remarkable resilience when they're given space to think clearly and move forward through life's challenges with intention.

My work takes several forms, but it's all driven by the same purpose: helping people make sense of complex situations.

I support individuals navigating divorce and family transition, particularly when there’s high conflict.

I partner with organizations seeking focus, alignment, and operational effectiveness.

And through writing fiction, I explore many of the same themes I encounter in coaching—family, relationships, resilience, forgiveness, and the choices that shape our lives.

Whether through coaching, consulting, or writing, I've always been drawn to helping people navigate life's most complex moments with clarity and intention.

The Experience I Bring

Headshot of Dawn White

Over nearly three decades, I've mentored, coached, and led people at every stage of their professional journeys—from college students beginning their careers to high-performing teams and future leaders within Fortune 500 companies. Those experiences taught me that while every situation is different, people consistently benefit from having someone who can help them think clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and navigate complex decisions with confidence.

My creative background in writing and dance performance informs how I think and has sharpened my ability to structure ideas, communicate clearly, and remain adaptable in dynamic environments. Those experiences continue to shape how I solve problems, communicate ideas, and support people navigating complex situations.

Books

I've always been fascinated by the choices people make—and how those choices shape relationships, identity, and hope. That curiosity eventually led me to fiction.

I'm interested in the moments that shape us—the difficult decisions, unexpected detours, and quiet victories that often go unseen.

My novels explore resilience, family, forgiveness, and the unexpected paths that lead us home.

Chairs on a dock by the river in Tennessee

I live on a quiet stretch of river in Tennessee with my husband, our rescue cat, Banksy, and two boxer dogs, Belle and Lulu. It’s a setting that encourages perspective, reflection, and balance. Family is central to my life, whether we’re at home or traveling together with our two children, and it strongly influences how I show up in my work: present, thoughtful, and grounded.

When I'm not coaching, consulting, or writing, you'll often find me on the dance floor. Ballroom dancing has been a meaningful part of my life for many years. I've enjoyed competing and performing, and one of my favorite experiences was collaborating with my dance partner to choreograph and perform original ballroom routines for a live performance of an original musical. It was a wonderful reminder that some of the most rewarding experiences come from combining creativity, trust, and a willingness to embrace new challenges.
