About DGW Business Services
DGW Business Services was founded to support organizations that need clarity — in their content, their processes, and their day-to-day operations.
I’m Dawn White, a business services professional with a background that blends strategic thinking, executional rigor, and creative problem-solving. I work directly with clients to design systems and content that are both functional and sustainable.
How I Work
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.
Every engagement starts by understanding how your business actually operates — where time is lost, where information breaks down, and where support is needed most. From there, I design and implement solutions that fit your reality, not just best practices on paper.
My role often includes:
Managing complex or high-volume information
Translating ideas into usable documentation
Supporting teams through change or growth
Acting as a steady, reliable extension of your organization
Creativity Applied Practically
With over twelve years of experience in Director roles in both small and large companies, I’ve led teams across the client lifecycle from marketing to ongoing client success. I’ve implemented engagement strategies that have increased client retention rates by 15% and streamlined technical troubleshooting processes that have reduced resolution times by 25%.
I’ve designed learning programs for clients to improve product adoption and for internal employees to reduce attrition and improve workplace satisfaction.
My creative background in writing and performance informs how I think and has sharpened my ability to structure ideas, communicate clearly, and remain adaptable in dynamic environments. Those skills now show up in how I design workflows, craft content, and support teams under pressure.
The result is work that feels thoughtful, intentional, and easy to use — even when the underlying problems are complex.
DGW Business Services exists to help organizations operate with greater confidence and less friction. If you’re looking for a partner who brings both structure and insight to your work, I’d welcome the opportunity to collaborate.
Life Outside of Work

Life Outside of Work *
I live on a quiet stretch of river in Tennessee with my husband, our rescue cat, Banksy, and two boxer dogs, Belle and Lulu. It’s a setting that encourages perspective, reflection, and balance. Family is central to my life, whether we’re at home or traveling together with our two children, and it strongly influences how I show up in my work: present, thoughtful, and grounded.
Hobbies and Interests
I’m energized by experiences that blend structure and creativity. I enjoy ballroom dancing and writing books—both disciplines that require clarity, intention, and a strong sense of rhythm and flow. Travel, movement, and creative work continually shape how I think, communicate, and solve problems.
These same values—clarity, care, and consistency—carry directly into my work with clients. I take a people-first approach and focus on creating thoughtful, sustainable solutions that support both the business and the lives behind it.

Summer of Frogs
During a hot, lazy summer in Georgia, 16-year-old Trixie sorts through the complexity of her parents' marriage, jealousy towards her adorable kid sister, and ambivalence about the religion she inherited. From a generation before texting and social media, Trixie relies on her best friend and partner-in-mischief, her vivid imagination, and her love of nature. For Trixie, it is the summer of frogs.

If the Shoe Fits
If The Shoe Fits follows the intersecting lives of six women on one day as they discover something about love and loss, about themselves, about other women, and, yes, about shoes. In spite of age differences, there is one thing all women have in common—shoes mirror their state of mind. If The Shoe Fits mixes style and metaphor to create a poignant journey that transcends shoe preference.
